On April 25th, 2019, the Iota Chapter at Colorado State University held their annual Los Manos Youth Leadership Conference. This year’s event was the largest to date, and was even nominated for an award by the university’s Fraternity and Sorority Life Office. The Conference welcomes 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students from the Denver, Commerce City, and Fort Collins area for workshops on personal development and opportunities in higher education. The brothers of the Iota Chapter hope to inspire young men of diverse backgrounds to work hard and achieve.
The theme of this year’s conference was Adopting New Inspirations for More Opportunity. “ANIMO” is a Spanish term meaning “to be lifted in spirit or mood”, and the SLBEF is proud of the Iota Chapter for lifting and inspiring area youth. Congratulations, brothers, on a great event!
