Do you think you can make the Sigma Lambda Beta Education Foundation (SLBEF) better than it is? If as an alumni you are still looking for a way “To better our community, country, and the world.” – then read on!
The SLBEF is proud to announce that in addition to re-filling the spots of two existing at-large Board of Trustee (BoT) members whose terms are ending, we are also increasing the size of the board by two. In order to do that, we are kicking off the application process. The alumni brothers selected will join the other at-large trustee members in the pursuit of advancing SLBEF initiatives and meeting our mission. Specific work items for at-large positions include, but is not limited to:
Fundraising on behalf of the SLBEF
Developing SLBEF goals, plans to meet them, and leading the tactical execution of those plans
Active participation in quarterly BoT meetings (most are virtual), with on-going communication as needed to move initiatives forward
Potential leadership of, and participation in, one or more committees
