This February 15th, 2019, the brothers of the ‘Unstoppable’ Upsilon Gamma Chapter hosted their 11th annual Retention of Youth and Latinos Leaders Conference (ROYAL). The purpose of the conference is to provide High School male students with the resources they need to succeed in life. They were able to bring around 100 students from various high schools in the Denver Public School and Aurora Public School districts to the University of Denver Campus. Students engaged in workshops surrounding toxic masculinity, professional development, the value of sacrifice, the lessons learned through failure, and the ways of overcoming obstacles in their lives. Students left the conference with the resources and the confidence that not only they can succeed in life but hat they can help others along the way.
