The Sigma Lambda Beta Education Foundation is proud to announce Brother Adam Rodriguez from the Phi Beta Chapter at the University of Washington as a recipient of the 2023 Opportunity for Wisdom scholarship. Brother Adam will be able to apply this $1000 scholarship towards his college expenses. Please read his letter and view his message below.
To the donors of the Sigma Lambda Beta Education Foundation,
Thank you so much for making it possible to give out such a generous scholarship to brothers uplifting the Fraternity’s principles. I appreciate your generosity and hope to one day pay it forward.
On that note, I am extremely honored and thankful to be one of the 2023 recipients for the Opportunity for Wisdom Scholarship provided by the Sigma Lambda Beta Education Foundation. I am delighted to have such a generous scholarship given to me all through your generosity.
The start of the new school year in fall will be my final year as an undergraduate student. This scholarship will help my senior year be smooth sailing as I focus on my education and the Fraternity. I will be graduating with a double major in Law, Societies & Justice, and Political Science. As I finish my undergrad with a pre law degree, this scholarship will aid my goal of going to Law School. I am thankful to you all for helping my dream of going to law school more of a possibility.
I appreciate everything Sigma Lambda Beta has brought me, from a brotherhood who supports me, to all the resources the organization provides me. I appreciate what it’s taught me about being a leader, and I hope to continue the work that needs to be done moving forward.
